Hello! My name is Skylar, I am a children’s book illustrator. I graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, CO and now makes art in New York City.
I have been fortunate to work with amazing publishers and clients such as Oxford University Press, DK, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (here in my home town!), Sourcebooks, and AWW Magazine.
The books I get most excited about are the ones about girl power, the magic of childhood, and friendship.
When I am not drawing I love to make quilts and to get out to the ocean to surf.
